Echo: A Valuable Addition to the Plymouth-Canton School District

The Plymouth-Canton school district is excited to announce the addition of Echo, a 3-year-old Labrador, to their team. With her impressive dual roles, Echo is training to provide comfort to students as a therapy dog and detect firearms to keep the community safe. It’s no surprise that Echo is such an asset to the school district – her invaluable service is sure to make a difference in the lives of the students.

Echo’s Dual Role

Echo is being trained to have a dual role in the Plymouth-Canton Community School District: providing comfort to students as a therapy dog and detecting ammunition, firearms, and explosives. With his smiling face always bringing a smile to the kids’ faces, Echo is a beloved member of the school district. His partner, Scott Hughesdon, describes him as “his eyes and ears of protection” who is ready to serve in any way he can.
